Q: Why is our product the most precise in bleaching your teeth?

A: You take the impressions by following our easy step-by-step instructions. Then just send the impressions back to us in the pre addressed stamped envelope. In a few day you will receive the bleaching trays custom designed to your mouth. Store-bought systems do not have trays that adapt exactly to the shape of your teeth; therefore, the bleach can be diluted by saliva, thus not effectively reaching every aspect of your tooth.

Q: What is the difference between this bleaching system and in-office treatments?

A: There is basically no difference. Besides being about a quarter of the price, these bleaching trays are made exactly the same way that trays are made in a dentist's office. The difference is the fact that you can bleach your teeth at home for a fraction of the in-office price.

Q: How is this different from over- the-counter products?

A: Your treatment will be done using custom fitted trays. Over the counter trays are not snug and cause spotting of your teeth by not allowing the bleach to be evenly distributed over your teeth. Also, some over-the counter products contain harmful acids or abrasives which can damage your teeth or gums.

Q: What is the difference between laser whitening and custom mouthpieces?

A: Laser-whitening is done by a dentist who applies a 35% Hydrogen Peroxide solution on your teeth. Once this solution is applied, a light is held a couple of inches away from your teeth to speed up the chemical reaction of the Hydrogen Peroxide. The only benefit of doing laser whitening is that your teeth become white instantaneously. Although, this procedure is highly expensive and usually after a year, your teeth become slightly discolored again and develop new stains.

Q: What causes tooth discoloration?

A: Causes include smoking, coffee, tea, soda, trauma, old fillings, some medications and staining. Aging may also contribute towards the darkening of your teeth.

Q: How does the whitening gel work?

A: The whitening material allows oxygen to enter the dentin and enamel of your teeth, thus bleaching the discolored areas.

Q: How soon will I see results?

A: Results can be seen the very first day. For maximum results, you should wear the whitening system 2-4 hours a day, for 10 – 14 days.

Q: Is this process harmful to my teeth?

A: The whitening process is not harmful to your teeth nor does it change your teeth's basic structure. Your tooth enamel is not altered at all. Substantial clinical and laboratory research has shown that Teeth Whitening gel have no adverse effects on teeth.

Q: Are there any special considerations to have in mind before using the system?

A: Tooth sensitivity may occur while using the product, especially to very cold or hot food or drinks. This sensitivity should disappear after a few days of discontinuing treatment.

Q: Will this procedure affect my crowns or fillings?

A: No. Teeth Whitening will not affect fillings, crowns or other tooth colored restorations. Occasionally, amalgam fillings may leave a harmless gray residue in your tray.

Q: How often is it necessary to repeat the process?

A: If staining substances, such as caffeine, tobacco products, or any substance that can cause discoloration are being used, periodic re-whitening may be necessary every few years. However, teeth will always be lighter than they were before whitening them. Also, good oral hygiene and regular visits to your dentist will help the results to last for a long time.

Q: Is this system a substitute for regular dental care?

A: This product is not intended to be a substitute for prevention of dental problems and any dental disease. You should always schedule regular visits with your dentist.

Q: Does bleaching remove tartar?

A: No. You need to realize this procedure only whitens stained teeth due to coffee, tea, smoke, or aging. It does not remove tartar build-up.
